The system · In development
Every company runs on what one person remembers. We are building the place it goes instead.
A company’s memory should not leave in a truck the day its best person retires. It should live somewhere that can be asked, at any hour, from anywhere, and that answers with the page it read.

Most companies have no memory. They have people, and people are busy, and people leave. The contracts sit in a drawer. The promise made on the phone sits in nobody’s notes. The lesson learned in 2019 gets learned again in 2026. We think that is the most expensive thing about running a company, and the least talked about. We intend to end it.
A day with it
It works while you run the company.
- 5:56 am
The day’s list is in your inbox.
What is due, what is overdue, the next three dates, the one thing most worth doing. Written from the records, not from anyone’s memory.
- Every 15 min
It reads what changed.
The folder, the mail, the calendar. A contract that arrived at lunch is known by ten past. Nothing is retyped. Nothing is filed by hand.
- 2:10 pmNext
A question, from a parking lot.
“Which vendors raised prices this year?” The answer, with the invoices it came from, before you reach the car door.
- 11:40 pmNext
A person, captured before you forget.
Who you met today, what they need, and what was promised either way. One minute, by voice, into the register.
The first two run inside Wilhelm & Co today. The rest is being built, in that order.
It reads everything.
Contracts, invoices, statements, the long email threads. Everything the company has written down, read once and kept.
It answers with its source.
Ask in plain words. Every answer arrives with the page it came from, so you can check it yourself. A question with no record behind it gets “not in the record,” never a guess.
It keeps your rules.
Write down how your company works, once. It checks the records against those rules every time, and tells you when something does not fit.
It remembers the people.
Who you met, what they need, and what is owed either way, kept as you leave the room.
On the tools
Hand a man a power drill in 1600 and he would call you the devil.
It is a screwdriver that does not get tired. These tools read faster and sort faster. They do not know anything they were not given, and they do not decide. So this system keeps them on a short leash: code picks the records, the model reads only those, and every answer names its page or says “not in the record.” Ask the same question three different ways and you get the same page back. You can check it. You can overrule it.
The line written into this practice’s own rules before it took a single client: judgment stays home. The thinking stays human. The decisions stay yours.
What it is not
Not a chatbot.
It does not make conversation. It finds the record, shows it, and stops.
Not a dashboard nobody opens.
It comes to you: an email at 6 am, an answer when you ask. There is nothing to log into and forget.
Not a cloud that owns your records.
Your files stay where you agreed they would be. The model underneath can be swapped. The records stay readable without any of it.
Not the one who decides.
It finds, shows its source, and waits. The decision is yours, every time, and it is written down as yours.
Where it goes
Built in the open, one company at a time.
01First, inside Wilhelm & Co, every day, on the practice’s own work.
02Then for the companies the practice works inside, one at a time, each behind its own wall.
03Then for every company that runs on what one person remembers.
It opens to a small number of companies after it has earned it, and not before.
